The Red Bull Illume takes place every three years. The world’s largest international photography competition looking for the best and most creative action sports photography in the world. The award ceremony at which we won the close-up category took place on August 29, 2013. The top 50 finalists of the Red Bull Illume were unveiled on the “Avenue of Stars” in Hong Kong. Subsequently, our winning photo traveled with the other finalists around the world as a photo exhibition. The photos were shown on 2x2m columns of light and could only be viewed in the evening.
