SAUDI GREEN INITIATIVE / COMMISSIONED

About
The Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) is a national program launched by Saudi Arabia to combat climate change, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance sustainability. It focuses on afforestation, renewable energy, and environmental conservation, aiming to plant billions of trees, cut carbon emissions, and promote a circular carbon economy as part of Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 strategy.
These images showcase a few of the pioneers behind this prestigious program, initiated by His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman. SGI represents a collective effort involving biodiversity experts, climate researchers, renewable energy engineers, forest conservation workers, and more—all striving for a sustainable and greener future.
